Dr. Kim Castro attained her veterinary degree from the University of Edinburgh in the UK in 2018. Prior to this, she completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Biology (Hons) from the University of British Columbia. Dr. Castro started her career as a veterinarian in the small town of Ladysmith in Vancouver Island, before moving to Melbourne, Australia for 3.5 years. In the summer of 2022, she moved to the beautiful city of Vancouver to be closer to family.
Dr. Castro enjoys keeping an active lifestyle and loves to travel. In her free time you’ll find her hiking and camping during the summer, and skiing or reading a good book in the winter. Dr. Jessica Robinson
(locum) (Fear-Free Elite)
Dr. Jessica Robinson is a 2021 graduate from the Atlantic Veterinary College in Charlottetown, PEI. She received recognition for excellent patient care in her clinical years.
Jessica is South African by birth but became a Canadian citizen after spending her childhood in Winnipeg before moving to British Columbia. Dr. Jeanne Lapointe
(Fear-Free Certified)
Born and raised in Montréal, I graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Montréal, in 2019. After spending 3.5 years in the Lower Saint-Lawrence valley and the Magdalene Islands working with both small and big animals, I transitioned to a small animal practice in the Laurentians, north of Montréal, where I have been for the past year. My passion lies in surgery, a field that I find immensely rewarding and challenging.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy travelling and outdoor activities. I am also trilingual, speaking French and English fluently, and Spanish, thanks to a year spent in Mexico and Central America. This experience not only helped me linguistically but also culturally, providing a broader perspective on the world and the diverse communities within it.
My journey so far has been incredibly fulfilling, and I look forward to further developing my skills and making a positive impact in the field of veterinary medicine.
