The “Angel Fund” is a charity fund maintained by Fraserview Veterinary Hospital to provide care for stray animals and adopted pets (from low-income households) who are diagnosed with a serious yet curable illness that is very expensive to treat. By caring for these pets, we help them and their owners, for whom the pet is like family.
To be eligible for this wonderful program, you must first submit an application to Scratchpay. In the unfortunate circumstance, you are declined, you may then apply for the Angel Fund. Proof of low-income status is required to prevent abuse of the fund by pet owners who can pay for treatment of their ill or injured animal. The clinic appreciates any donations to the Angel Fund to help pets in need.
Please note: The eligibility amount either in part or full is limited to the availability of funds in the program.
We are truly grateful for the community’s generosity, which helps us provide care for these needy animals. We are also thankful for our compassionate staff who routinely foster ill and injured strays in their homes until they are recovered and can find their forever home or, in some cases, become part of their family.
